Pronation and Supination

The Pronation test is performed to define the static strength of the combined force of the wrist and forearm. This test shows a symmetrical difference and relationship to grip strength. It is performed by alinging the ring finger on the activator ring and bending the activator, with the forearm and the wrist, over to the left for the right hand and to the right for the left hand.
Supination is the exact opposite of Pronation. The Supination test is performed by aligning the ring finger with the activator handle and bending the activator over with the forearm and wrist, away from the body with the right hand and towards it with the left hand.
