In July of 2003 ITAC's Danish distributor, CASP Elektronik, submitted the MOUSE-TRAK Desktop Industrial trackball to Danish Electronics, Light, and Accoustics (DELTA) for type approval testing in marine environments. The tests performed included extreme temperature operation, extreme humidity operation, resistence to vibration, resistence to radiated radio frequency interference, resistence to electrostatic discharge, radiated emission measurement. All tests were performed to standards specified by the International Electrotechnical Commission and the International Association of Classification Societies, LTD. DELTA's certification facilities and processes are accredited by DANAK (Danish Accredation), which bases accredation on several European standards.
By mid-September, DELTA completed all testing and reported the results to CASP Elektronik. Following is a link to the type approval testing report issued by DELTA on 22 September 2003.
